FCRA license for Hemalata children’s homes rejected
The application for renewal of the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) license has been rejected since October 2023. Without this license, the State Bank of India refuses to accept money transfers from abroad. While many thousands of organizations were denied this permission 3 years ago, we were still granted it in 2021. Hemalata currently has an appeal before the court and we are desperately waiting for the next decisions. We should receive a decision on the renewal of the license by the end of this year. We will keep you up to date on this page.
